    Hello Guys and Gals,

Just wanted to share with you the progress on my CJ5. Just installed a new summer top from Beachwood Canvas Works. It fits perfectly, feels great and smells delicious!R)

I am almost done with it. Just missing a couple of electrical components... BUT its a work in progress...

A couple of pictures for you to take a look at. Let me know what you all think.

Looks nice. I hope it doesn't leach color when it gets wet - I bought a canvas Bantam tarp that did that. Took mucho rubbing compound to get out of the paint.

My canvas top hasn't leached and it has gotten wet.

I love the look of the canvas tops on early jeeps! Looks great!

Looks like you could load up a Bwana and a couple elephant hunters and head out "into the blue" in that beautiful rig. A couple 458 magnums and a trailer full of camping gear and you're off! Bag a Kudu or 2 for me. Gosh I can smell the campfire already.

Thanks for all the comments! Sorry I took long to respond, I was busy cruising that baby around! Let me tell you it feels good to drive around in it. I live in a beach town so I have to rinse it every time I use it; but to go to the beach in it with the wife is great!:)

    Thanks,

Your Jeep served as inspiration to keep building mine and install a canvas top on it.

I like the canvass top. Can you get a bigger rear window for them??

    Thanks! 8)

I'd imagine so. If you tell new life or beachwood that, they probably would do it, just cost a little extra.
