Not bad for your first paint job? I'd say it was great for your first. Whole Jeep looks amazing!

Bill, looks great! Love the color. Is that the original color? Can I request a pic of where the prop rod attaches to the hood and how it attaches to the hood when not in use?

    Thanks

Very nice job! Two questions - what engine is that? and what equipment (gun, compressor) did you use to paint it? You have all us Jeep geeks salivating - beautiful ride!

Awesome job. Your paint job looks a hell of a lot nicer than my first one. Very well done!

Yes, it is the original color. Avocado Mist (metallic) I will try to get a couple pics of the prop rod for you soon. Thanks for the compliment. Bill

Thanks to all for the positive feedback and compliments. They are appreciated.
Engine: Dauntless V6, T14a three speed, Warn overdrive, Dana 44 rear, 27 front.
Miles: I reset the speedo to zero when I finished it. I was told it's not an original to my year so who knows how many miles it really had on it when I started. It showed 32k.
Paint: I did all the body work (spare tire area patch) and primer in my garage. I used a gravity feed gun kit that included a primer gun, base & clear and a touch up gun I picked up at my local paint store ($100). I borrowed a Sata gun for the final shoot and rented a paint booth for $150. After all the hours spent on the prep and hours of sanding, I didn't want to take any chances on contaminating the final paint.
It's now time to get her on the road and enjoy a few cars shows this summer.
