Jeep/David Bradley trailer rims

    I understand that early cj5 rims would work on a DB trailer...I hear and see that theres a DB rim for sale...however...i found these for free on craigslist.

    are these in fact early cj5 rims?

    they are 15" and have the markings K1 and under it is a #5 and i think the other said K1 and underit is a #2

    and by the valve stem are the number 8 on one and i think 6 on the other...are these date stamps? if these are cj rims whats the significance of the K?

    Hi John - I don't know about the markings on your wheels......but the rims you picked up appear to be identical (or at least extremely similar) to the one in the picture below. This is a crop of a photo taken by the original owner of my CJ-5 when it was new in 1967:

    Good for you for getting those wheels for FREE!! Looks like they're in really good shape, too.

    thanks...i jumped on that one...i'll be trying it out on the trailer when i get the new tires

    i'll probably be buying these for the trailer: Power King Tires
