Well I have another one to ask about, guy says it is a 63 but that can't be since it sports the Mark4 emblem. Serial number is 8322 11665. Thinking it might be a early 64 production. Does anyone have a better guess?

That depends, we could meet at one of the next Willys gatherings. Besides us Texans have been working real hard to make your guys up north feel welcome for the Superbowl, we even imported snow and cold weather for the event.

OK, next time I'm in Dallas I'll look you up to collect. I'm not a coffee drinker but will partake in other beverages :stout: :)

About half way down are links to some documents for serial numbers 1963-1967.

Beyond 1967 we call them them the lost years as there appears to be no real reference except what we've pieced togather in the VIN document. I need to get off my butt and update that thing one of these days!

That is worth a beverage of your choice, thank you. I assume that since you are up that way you have gone to one of those Willys Reunions? If so what do you think about them?

Never been to one, but would like to some day.

I used to live in Dallas and brought my Jeep (and M416 trailer and Datsun 280Z) from there when I moved back to Minnesota. You're lucky to have such a supply of rust free vehicles!

I'll be in Houston in 2-3 months, but that's a bit of a haul from Dallas!
