Turn single wiring for 74 CJ with later tilt.

I recently installed tilt steering in my 74CJ5. I believe the new column was out of a 79CJ5. I now need to figure out the wiring, 79 column harness to 74 under dash column harness connector. If anyone has already done this and has their conversion info handy, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did a little look-up on the schematics and here is what I came up with.

79 Turn Sig 76 Turn Sig

Power in = Orange
Horn relay = ???? - - - - - - - - -Black/with tracer (white?)
Right turn ind. = Green with tracer- - - Green
Left turn ind. =Green - - - - - - - - - -Green with tracer
Flasher =Pink
Flasher =Red with tracer- - - - - Red with tracer
Left turn/haz =Light green w/tracer- - -Light green w/tracer
Right turn/haz =Light green - - - - - - - Light green
Stop light sw =Red w/tracer - - - - - - Red with tracer

On the two wires (red with tracer) the diagrams don't indicate a tracer color or difference so when you look at the two you may be able to determine the likeness. HTH

Your 76 wiring does not require the Power in (Orange) except for the stop light sw power. The 79 had power in to supply power for the hazzard (I think).

I know that. The post didn't line things up correctly. It looked ok when I typed it but didn't come out correctly when posted. If you look at it again you will see the color code for the 79 is in the first row and the corresponding colors after it are for your 74. The 76 is a typo. Sorry for the confusion.
