The tub is more than likely original and one of the early ones since it's a WILLYS script. PLEASE don't cut it up. They were rare and are still rare. Even rarer, IIRC are the Ford script tubs. The head if its a 44-45 is likely a replacement at some point and from what I've read isn't that uncommon to find with an early engine. Alright, I finally got this thing back home... work got extended for a bit and it sat in a storage facility for ~2 months. Flat towed it 1200 miles from Sioux Falls SD to Atlanta Ga and it did remarkably well. With an internet connection and the jeep right next to each other I must say I was mistaken. This is a confirmed slatty, just missing the grille (all other peices are there).

Two days back at home around the actual tools and it runs too!! 90psi in all cylinders and cranked up on the fourth turn after sitting for 18 years... something huge must be preparing to go wrong.
