Alright, so this is my first build and it has been a blast so far thanks in HUGE part to the people on this forum who have helped me untold times. Since I have actually been working on this since last July I will give the Readers Digest version of what it had, what I have done and what I am gonna do. Mainly because if you are like me you get distracted by nothing more than a shiny penny:D. If you like, just read it like a Playboy...right to the pics:rofl:
    When I bought it:
62 Willys CJ5 with a 225, T90, D18, Warn overdrive, D25 front, D44 rear -both 5;38s, 11" brakes but ghetto fabbed(wrong), manual sagi steer, stock ride hieght with toe up shocks, very straight bodyand frame with bsically no interior.
    What I have done:
Completed the tear down to the frame, cleaned and painted the frame and axles with spray bedliner, rebuilt T90 with Novak kit, new seals in the transfer, rebuilt the D25 outers and changed from Bendix to Cardon U-joints, all new brake components, did the Easy-Off engine clean and painted everything, new rear main seal, all new gaskets. Thats most of the interesting stuff (sorta).
Gonna do in the coming weeks:
rear tank install, Herms dual master cylinder, Novak engine mounts, bend up new brake lines, order new EZ wiring harness.
Well I think thats it for the jibber jabber from me. So now on to the show and please let me know what you think(especially if you see/read something I may screw up or was tough for you to do)

the day I bought it ($600 and about 900 miles later):

    frame cleaned and bedlined

engine post Easy-Off and painted (mostly)

my first brake line bendng trick-had to eat up a little extra length

well thats it for now, I hope you enjoyed and I hope I didnt screw up the posting of the pics. Thanks again for all the help and I will update as I go, if not just for pure comedic value:D.
BTW- the "princess" is because she will be more of a pavement princess than a mountain goat (for now)

if you are going to leave the brake line like that i would put a hose clamp on it or a zip tie to hold it to axle housing . other wise it looks good.

I used the Dupli-Color Hampstead Green. Got it at Autozone.

Looks great! If you invest in a double flare tool, you can make the brake lines any length you want. Takes a little practice, but easy to figure out.

If you want some help with the brake line I can help with a GOOD flaring tool. You probably remember where I live, you got the D25 axle from me. PM me if you want to take me up on the help offer.
