as it sits today after a new windshield, changing out the roll bars, adding a new supertop, putting on new mirrors painting rims, rewiring, changing the seats, getting rid of the wooden dash, changing the carb, adding new gauges, and various other things.

nah, the green one was a parts jeep. Got both axles, tranny/xfer case, roll bar and a couple bad seats for 300$ Snagged some parts off the xfer case and swapped out the rear ends.

Black one was another i was gonna buy for a parts jeep, but guy told me it was a 75 and it turned out to be a 76. I bought it anyway cus it was almost rust free. paid 325 for it and sold it about a month and a half ago for 800.

I like the yellow too. when i get it repainted im going back with yellow again. I used to not like yellow vehicles, but it looks good on a jeep and a corvette, probably a few others too.

Ive got good news, after having loads and loads of problems with carbs i finally seem to have one that is working right. i have been through one holley, and am now on the 3rd 2150. i can now drive it through the yard and it does not over load with fuel or die out. a couple more things to do and i might get this mamma jamma on the road before i hit the year and a half mark.

i drove it to check the mail today, other than being very bouncy from the add a leaf i put on the springs it drove pretty well.
i may find that im not happy with the add a leaf suspension and spend the money on the skyjacker 2.5 springs one day in the not too distant future if it does not loosen up enough.
there is more work to be done as always. now that it is closer to driving i need to go on and put the fuel gauge/sender and replacement gas tank in it.
need to change out the fuel pump. it has an in line pump that is dying out when it gets hot.
pretty sure an electric fan is in the near future as 90-110 are very common summer temps here.

after getting to drive it correctly for even a few feet im much happier with the whole thing and am looking forward to getting it on the road again. its nice when something finally gets fixed after so much aggravation.
