Just throwing it out there to see if any of you have done this to your Jeep to get more wheelbase and or better ride. I'm curious to know how much frame lengthening is needed front and rear.

    Any advice is appreciated....

Blue Torch Fab makes a rear bumper that has integrated spring mounts, will extend the wheel base I think 10 inches, uses Wagoneer springs. You'd need to relocate the fuel tank to keep the diff from crushing it on spring conpression.

I'm planning on running xj springs in my 6. Not going to extend the wheelbase. You only have to move the front hanger forward. Of course you have to swap hangers and shackles to 2.5 in springs. They flex a lot better and ride better

I have done some reading and general concensus is that there will be spring wrap with XJ springs. I sure would like to lengthen the front but that would also entail either going with an Astro van steering box or moving my box further forward.

I think I should just drive my damn Jeep the way it is:)
