You probably have the three pull knobby deal.

    Good pics here

But I believe for your year you should have the vacuum one like mine. I am not sure maybe someone else will chime in. If so as long as they work then why bother. You would have a different plenum box as well. If you are doing a resto job and want to pay attention to detail then you might want to change.

If anyone is considering doing this here's a tip.

Once you get the lettering done, go to the auto paint store and get a spray can of clear topcoat.

I was at the store today and they told me they'd have to sell me a pint of activator and a quart of top coat.

That is when I went to the rattle can shelf and found a clear rattle can enamel top coat for around five bucks.

This is on the list of things to do for the cj6 that I am putting together.

Maybe this info could be added to the Tech section for future reference. Nice job by the way.

I've been searching all over and I cant find anyone that has those letters because they said Datak doesn't make them anymore or they are out of business or something.

Has anyone redone their faceplate recently and found some the letters/arrows?

I need to re-do mine as well. Where-O-where to find letters? Have no fancy circuit board outlets etc. in this small town. Got a Radio Shack tho but no dice.

Thanks to Kevin, I got mine looking good. I also went back over the missing letters on a wiper switch knob I got from someone here too.

I have a like new bracket/mount for the three knob heater switch if you want it for shipping cost. Let me dig it up and I will get back with you.
