    You can build your own header and intake...but it takes a lot of time and patience. I built one for my Jeep. I had a thread on it in here somewhere, but the pictures aren't working since the site was down a while back.

    Don't expect big gains or anything, but I do feel the engine runs smoother and flows better...I'm sure it at least added 1/2 hp or so ;)

    Yea its been done....a lot! very easy to do in fact.

    Deck, up to .120 is the max on the l-heads: Possable 20-30 horsepower possable if you take it to the max

    Stroke, up to .080, this will bring piston right up to the top of the cylinder and the bottom of the piston skit will go into the engine ~.030. Good for ~10 hp

    Bore, MAX is .080. Recommend that the cylinder be sleeved and bored to .060, gives you a more reliable engine. max power from this is ~15-20 HP.

    They used to hop these engines up for circle track racing (dirt) way back when. Running like 6 grand. No issues.
