all 8 of the hangers on my 74 are in need of replacing. I can find the side that the shackles mount to, but the other side most of the places online list those as working up to 1971 and not later. Does anyone know if I can use these? Secondly is there a person favorite vendor that supports this forum or visits here. I know I can get them from 4wd hardware but if there is a smaller guy who lends advice or help here I would rather spend the money there.

These are the shackles I want to use

    Hangers I know will work

Hanger I think will work but not sure 100%

in 74 and 75 the factory used a rubber/steel spring bushing that extended slightly beyond the main leaf. The inner sleeve was longer.
It could be that the hangars in question aren't wide enough for the 74/75 bushings.
If in fact you have those bushings, grinding the steel inner case of the bushing down should allow them to go into the earlier hangars.
So, if the bushings that come with the new shackles are too wide to fit into the hangars, then simply grinding the bushing width down should work. You can do this on the bench before you install the bushings in the springs.
The 73 and prior rubber/steel bushings are the same in all other dimensions as the later bushings, overall length being the difference.
On the others hand, if using the shorter bushings and you need more width, adding washers would be acceptable to me.
This is what I recall anyways.

    both will work.

you need the 4x shackle hangers for the front and back where the shackle go.
and you will need 4x the main eye hanger where the springs mount to the frame.
