Half Cab Bulkhead *pics*

Does anyone have any pics of what the bulkhead looks like when installed?

 

Not really clear or close up but it'll give you an idea.

 

How does the bulkhead attach at the sides?

 

Screws, sheet metal. Can't remember the original size off hand. I think I used 1/4" when I put this one in.

 

There are two end cap type parts that attach to the sidewall then bolt to the bulkhead.

I have the parts at home, when I get back Monday night I can snap some photos.

Got lucky scored a NOS half top setup complete with the caps and all the gaskets.

I have the parts book exploded view also showing the parts.
Again will have to wait until Mon - Tues unless someone else can post the sheet for you.

Nice pics...it looks as if someone did not have those side panels they could easily be fabed up out of some 14ga or 16ga sheet.

 

So the bolt ends stick out inside the cab?

 

That I do not know. Mine came with the full hard top, I run the soft top, never installed the 1/2 top.

 

Yeah mine had a full top that I traded for a half top. I started getting things together last night so I could install the bulkhead. I have a friend who has a factory half cab in storage that I am hoping to take a look at this weekend.

 

The side ones do. I *think* the ones that attach the side pieces to the bulkhead do too. I'll see if I can dig out one of my bulkheads in the shop to verify that. The one in the pictures I posted is 800 some odd miles away in North Carolina otherwise I'd check it .

 

Cool. I am hoping to have the bulkhead mounted next weekend, because I actually have the whole weekend to work on it.

 

The bolts on the back side of the bulkhead attach from the outside.
