    She lives!!!!!!!

Needs an injector cleaning and pretty much everthing else, but I bolted the body on, wired her up, and turned the key and thank the good Lord we had fire. I can't tell you how happy I am right now.

Okay, I had a project that consumed a little of my time. My YJ broke motor mounts on my last offroad trip (GrayRock) in October, so starting in November I started a 4.0 and TF727 swap to replace my tired 4 cylinder and manual combo in my 93. However, I am back to the Willys. The update is the Chrysler 9.25 is mounted in the rear with Wrangler springs and all new shortened axles from Dutchman and the Dana 44 is in the front with a hack-job coil spring something or another built by me. Rear is pushed back 2 inches and front is pushed forward 5. I'm not crazy about the front axle sticking out so much, but I'm going to keep going with it for now. Width is 9 inches wider than stock. It's also a little higher than I expected. Here's a crappy picture taken too late without any cleanup on the carport.

It's more or less a short arm spring setup and I need a little less pinion angle, I think I turned it up a little too far.

this is cool, keep up the good work. Is it hard converting to coil suspension? Something I might do you my CJ-3B when I get around to it.

I like it. Did you use bushing for all your link ends?
What do you plan on doing with it? How about some small Ag tires and hit mud fest?

Thanks, I could definitely use some positive reinforcement right now.

I have the cage done, and honestly I love it. I will get pics up soon (my digital camer is acting up). I was a little apprehensive building my own cage but I'm really proud of myself. I've been hem-hawing around for the final color of the jeep, but I'm leaning towards the 'tangerine twist' at Paintforcars.com. My wife likes the 'copper metallic'. I'm more of a Midnight Blue person myself, but I want something that's gonna stand out, after all, it took the jeep 50 years to get to my carport, and 10 to get off of it.

I'm behind on updates, but here's a pic of the cage I built. Also, tires are on it and I think I went too big. I'll try to get pics of the jeep with the tires on it tomorrow.

I got the steering done yesterday, and brakes done today. I lack seatbelts, electrical, fluids, and a handfull of other minor stuff. I have one more day to work on it, then I'm camping until I have to go back to (stinking) work.

Nice seats, what are they from???

I like how you used the roll cage to mount the seat rails.

    Keep it up.

The seats are out of a YJ. Unfortunately they won't be able to slide, I didn't get that part of the seat with the seats. I'm not sure if there's even enough room in a Willys to slide the seat anyway.

Pro Tools 105. A buddy of mine has one. I brought him a 12 pack each time I went over to use it. Luckily I got all of my bends done in two trips.

The two bars coming down the front look a little redundant, one goes inside the tub, and one goes outside the tub on that little step. It's hardly noticeable when it's in the jeep.

I've been wondering what it would look like with the a pillar landing on the step. Looking forward to the install.
