    Find any Original V6 Jeep and you'll see that the drivers side exhaust is done the same way to clear the steering box.

    I have a similar setup in a Jeepster, and used Astro manifolds, with a near center dump.

    with a 225 v6 you can cross under the drivetrain if you have an engine/transmission adaptor.

    I have a 2" front shaft in mine and there was not much room there so I went forward with it. It seemed to be easier.
