I have a 1973 CJ-5. I took the original wheels off and the original rear seat. I was going to place them in the classified section or craigs list but I have no idea what to ask for them. They are both in fairly good shape. I hate to mess with shipping things that large. I am in North Alabama. Any ideas on what I should ask for these items? I did do a search but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks for any help.

The wheels aren't worth a lot ... they are the same wheels that were used for many years on Jeeps. Assuming a local sale, private party, maybe $10 each, maybe less. Worth more on eBay, but then you'd have to ship.

Depending on the condition of the seat, that's a much more desirable item. You might want to keep it ... it will increase the value of your Jeep, should you decide to sell the Jeep. Post a picture of it.

You will probably kick yourself in the future if you sell the rear seat. I have no problem gettin $100 for a average rear seat- more if really nice.
