Dumb Question how to tell if you have overdrive

How do i know if i have orverdrive my jeep is a 1955 CJ-5 T-90 Every thing orig. also how do post pictures on herehttp://www.earlycj5.com/forums/images/smilies/flag.gif

 

There will be a seperate shifter for the overdrive. Of course the tcase might have two shifters as well, one for Hi-Lo and one for 2wd-4wd, but they will be beside each other where the overdrive will be further back.

I'm not big on my overdrive knowledge, so some others might post up differently though.

 

This will be attached to the back of your transfercase directly inline with the transmission.

 

When you write a post make sure you click on the box that says go advanced. Once the screen opens up, you pan down, there is a box that says manage attachments, click it, this will open a box that allows you to scan your computer for the photo and then save it to the forum. Once you've done that, finish typing your post and submit it. Your picture should then appear in your post when you come back to the topic.
