Ok. I don't know squat about old military trailers, but this 'utility trailer' has a military appearance to me, particularly the tail gate area. Is this a home build or an old military trailer? It's listed for $100, so I'm really hoping it's military.........I'm meeting the guy at noon, so I need to know quick. Thanks!

Might be a second version Converto dump trailer. Make sure it has a suspension because the first did not. Pintle was replaced. I'm just guessing from what I can see.

Hard to tell from the pics, but the front shot looks like a 50s pickup bed

You guys must have better eyesight than me. I can't tell what the heck it is from the photos. Please try to post some without the tarp, shot from different angles, with some close ups.

Well I went to look at this earlier this week. Of coarse I forgot my camera....from what I saw, the box is definitly from a military trailer. It had the 45 degree 'ledge' along the top of the box. I don't ever think I've seen this on a truck bed. The problem was the liftgate was from something else (countours didn't match) and it was mounted on a round tube frame (everything I've seen has a square frame). The leafs were mounted to the box via a 2x12. It wasn't in horrible shape, but from what I've seen, I can pick up a decent bantaam for $500-$600 in good-great shape. I would have to sink hours and hours and dollars and dollars into this thing.....
