Awile ago I had posted about problems I am having with a very stiff clutch pedal which causes the clutch cable to snap. One of the suggestions was that the clutch fork pivot in the bell housing may be worn, allowing the clutch fork to "slip" off the pivot. Well, after the third cable has snapped, I'm going to try that fix... Does anyone have a good source for those pivots? TIA:beer:

Chris, is the fork new? If not, BTDT. Turned out to be that the fork became twisted. I too ruined 3 cables before discovering. Give it a good inspection for alignment & such. HTH.

I will inspect the fork for straightness, but was going to replace it anyway after going thru the trouble of pulling the tranny. I "feels" as if it doesn't full engage the pivot and/ or falls off...
