For Sale ,sandblasted Cj3b steel body, complete w/ windshield frame, grill, tailgate, hood, fenders, and tub, been told it's 'above' average condition

they want 500 bucks for it. I am going to go look at it. what do you guys figure? worth 500 bucks.. i know i will need another project so i stay out of trouble..

Get some pics and we can tell. If the floors in the tub only need min repair I would say it is a good deal. Oh and see if it has the "fresh air heater", I need one!

 

If the tub is in decent shape at all it would be worth that.

A 'new' one will cost you upwards of 2,000+ usd and will not be nearly the quality of an original.

So, if you put another 500 beyond what you pay for it you'll only have 1,000 in it and then have a perfectly good tub.

I paid $500 for my CJ3B un-sandblasted, but it was a body from California and only has surface rust and is very sound (no rust holes in tub at all). If this CJ3B has a good windshield, fenders,grill and tub it is well worth $500.

 

This thing is starting to sound like a great deal. i just found out (thanks 1968 jeep) that it has the complete running gear but the motor is shot. so i am going with cash in hand to see it this weekend... my wife is going to kill me :twisted:

Actually it is being left in my will to my 4 year old god daugther.. she loves the thing and her dad would never sell it out from under her.

 

so i got half of this unit home today. what a great find. i'm loving it.. anyhow. gotta unload it then hit the highway.. Here i come Dallas.. whooo hooo road trip..
