    regarding the picture of the "WILLYS" cj5---

    Is it an optical illusion, or does the hood look like a cross between the cj3b and cj5 hood?

    It doesn't look exactly like a cj5 hood...

    It would be interesting to see one in person... Even more interesting to see one in my shop..

    Also interesting is no snorkel cutout on the hood, but has the battery box cover on the cowl. It's apparent they quickly decided two different production hoods wasn't worth the cost.

    Just went and looked at a '55 yesterday, #20973, says "JEEP" on the side, "WILLYS" on the tailgate.
