I've wanted a SC-1 decal set for my Jeepster/Commando and I see the the Jeepsterman has them as seen here https://thejeepsterman.com/products...jeepster-commando?_pos=1&_psq=sc&_ss=e&_v=1.0
I contacted them and inquired on how they are installed and they couldn't tell me, I was referred to ask a body shop because they (Jeepsterman) recommends " professional installation ".
I did speak with a local body shop and they indicated that the supplier needs to specify the installation procedure.
Has anyone here installed these before? How is it done?

Not that brand, but I've done alot decals. I clean the surface, ant trash underneath WILL show. I soak the area with a spray glass cleaner, then apply the decal. KEEP IT WET. Then float it into position. Starting in the center, carefully squeegee towards the out side, air bubbles won't go away by them selves. PAT DRY IF NEEDED. I'm not a professional installer, this works for me. Ron

Putting on the CAT decals when I worked for the local CAT dealer, I used glass cleaner and used a squeeze (Bondo Spreader / credit card) to smooth out bubbles.
Worked well. If it split in the middle, a little masking tape to hold it in position, sprayed with glass cleaner and did one side at a time. You can adjust it until the class cleaner dries.

x2, I watched some of the guys at the dealership where I worked back in the early 70's put renegade decals on a new cj5. This was the way they did it.
