so i have a new idea...so im looking for bushings that look similar to the ones in this picture HERE

now i was thinking that i could just get some measurements and go to a big parts warehouse and ask them to find some similar to this. just say i need a poly bushing this ID and this OD with this big of a lip and the OD of the lip is this.... you think i could get away with bushings for dirt cheap and work better than those crummy oem style bushings...??

also do you guys think that these bushings HERE actually look like this: or do you think they are just the regualar style ones like this:(but with the nice grease able bolts.

Both of the bushings pictured in your links above are the 1976-86 2-piece bushing style. Perhaps they could be made to fit your springs. If the spring eye diameter is the same it would just be a matter of cutting down the excess length. (76 and newer CJ's used 2" wide front and 2.5" wide rear springs, 55-75 used 1.75" wide springs).

74 here and looking to replace all the spring and shackle bushings. I'm having trouble locating all the bushings at one place so was looking looking at these. Anyone have any experience with them? Also i have heard that the poly type bushings can have an annoying "squeak", any thoughts??

I’d highly recommend tracking down rubber bushings, even if you have to piecemeal all the parts from different suppliers. Poly bushings don’t last long even with proper lube, and they have zero flex.

The inner sleeve on 5352659 is slightly longer than the 921055.
This change occured on the 74/75 model year.

Still needing some help. I looked at several different vendors for the OE spring bushings ordering several different part numbers. Is the eye bushings in the front leaf spring the same size as the rear eye bushing? And is the leaf spring shackle bushings the same size as the eye bushing?

They should be if they are still factory. If they have been changed to some aftermarket springs then who knows what they might be. On my factory equipped 74 the bushings are all alike, in shackle, hanger, and all spring eyes.

The problem is i am changing them out at one of those pay by the hour garages that have a lift and a press. i need all the parts to do the job before I start so that's the reason for all my questions. So if i understand they're all the same size and i'm ordering 12 new bushings. Which ones do I order? Maybe just order 12 each?

As I said above, all 12 of the bushings are all alike unless something has been changed from factory set up. If you are concerned weather or not yours are factory why don't you remove one of the "easier to get to" old bushings and measure/compare specs with the new ones before ordering.
I am not aware of this change, but the new bushings with the longer inner sleeve are probably the preferred replacement bushings for the 4 spring hangers. On my 74 there appears to be a little excess room between the spring and the inside of the hanger and needs a washer in there to take up the extra space (not the shackle ends). The shackle hangers and spring eyes are likely to use the shorter replacement bushings. However all 12 bushings are all the same diameter therefore 12 of the shorter bushings could be used in any of the 12 positions, you would just use a washer in the hangers to take up the extra space.
