    Well, this just showed me why I have a big crease in my bed where the current seats were loading an unreinforced section of the bed!

    What is the purpose of the spring/bolt at the rear of the bracket? Why not just a bolt?

    Allows for a very easy (quick) removal of the rear seat without having to worry about a rusted bolt/threads.
