    Howdy!
I came across a nice find, and am very eager to make a purchase. The said vehicle is a ‘67 CJ5 with T86 transmission, a 225 V6, powerlok differential, hard top, and PTO winch. Tge vehicle is maintained as “road worthy, having semi routine maintenance, oil changes, and braking system maintenance. It has lived its entire life in the Pacific Northwest. However, it is in reasonable good shape given its location and use. Mileage is unclear. One owner vehicle.

I curious what a fair market value would be, what a solid cash offer might entail, and a realistic value. Looking to make this transaction ASAP. Thank you!!!

    Welcome from Cottonwood!
Pictures would make it allot easier to hang a value on it. There are allot of factors that add to the value. I watch prices and regularly see clean early CJ5's in the $5-$10k range.
Your intended use also determines price in a big way.

Edit: didn't see Norcal69's response...typing at the same time. Anyway...

Well you might get a few different answers to this. First, pictures and or a link are helpful...maybe you're worried someone will swoop in. Is this the metallic blue one?... If yes, for me it's overpriced. Otherwise its hard to generalize. How are you going to use it?

I see prices for these Jeeps all over the map. Some folks think they have some rare collector thing and ask a ton of money, others seem to just want to get rid of them. People can ask whatever they want but the market where transactions actually happen (other than obvious excellent deals) seems between $4000-$10000 or so. Added value comes in when you know what you want out of it. For example, if you're wanting power steering and a truck 4 speed, finding one that has those things already done, and done well, gets you ahead.

There's certainly stuff to watch out for. If it's crossing state lines, you'll need a DMV/CHP VIN check in Cali, so make sure the title is clear and matches the VIN tag.
