Couple of questions/problems I’m having with my new MC.

    1. I need to extend the pushrod a little to get full travel. I’ve twisted and pulled but it doesn’t seem to want to extend or come out. Any tricks for this?

That picture is kind of upside down.
2 The nut/bolt that holds the pedal shaft to the pedal lever hits the Ross box.

See the yellow circle - nut contacts the box - red. What is wrong here?

Not supposed to be a hex head. Jeep used a countersunk bolt in that location.

    That would definitely help!!

I ended up pulling the brake lever arm out a couple times and tweaking it on my little shop press. It’s much better but still clunks around a little when pushed. I’ll look at the counter sink deal on some spare pedals I have.

Extending the pushrod looks like a no go?
I’ll be able to tell more as I get then bled well.

    Hi Vin,

    Group 11-03 Clutch Pedal

This change occurs when the dual master cylinder was implemented by law.
The pedal (lever) went from the old military part # A405 to 992756.
The similar looking superceded lever was reshaped
for proper clearance and refitted to accept the split bore push rod eye.
The pedal is countersunk where the flat head screw enters.
The clutch pedal was not changed at this time.
