Hi, I am looking to add a shim to the rear spring leafs to eliminate the left leaning on a M38. I am looking for a set of longer u-bolts on one side. Anyone has a part number for that? Sites rarely provide accurate measurment. Thanks YH

Around here U-bolts are made to order through local FLAPS or salvage yards.

There is a truck spring shop near me that I would go to. I'd take the original u-bolt to them and specify the added length for the replacement.

The measurements are not rocket science.

NAPA will likely have what you want and I think they are still quality USA made. The last ones I bought a year back were.

Wilco, Coastal, places like that frequently carry u-bolts as well.

Not sure how close you are to a town that has a spring and axle shop, but I had two u-bolts made at my local spring shop, while I waited and they were $12 (US) each and came with new washers and nuts. Good luck.

Flat lander is right. Just call a local suspension shop. Give them the width and length and he’ll be able to bend one up for you in a few minutes. Super easy for them
