I'd like to find a decent cover without breaking the bank. Mostly I want this for keeping the pine needles and pollen from accumulating as this jeep sits often for a couple weeks to a month between rides. I have a hardtop on it so it needs to cover that. (Are you asking why I need a cover if I have a hardtop? hahahaha)

    Thanks

I like a tarp with a couple of milk jugs hanging off the corners. Simple, cheap, and effective.

Something the mice and squirrels won't think makes good nesting material. Don't ask me how I know.

Personally I'd prefer a drive-in carport or shed. Covers area a PIA to manage if you want to use the jeep frequently.

Want something that is breathable. My Jeeps are kept in a pole barn, so are protected from the weather but not from the birds that roost in the rafters. When they are going to sit a while I cover them with a canvas tarp held down with bungee cords. From time to time the tarps need to be hosed off, but at least I don't have bird crap all over the seats.

This is a YJ/TJ/CJ7 cover on my 5. It looks a little funny on top because it is covering a full roll cage with roof basket, surf rods and beach gear. The YJ/TJ/CJ7 cover should fit pretty decent with your hardtop. The actual cover is a Budge brand from FLAPS. I use it to keep wandering eyes out at night when on road trips.

Just learned a interesting thing that kind of goes along with this subject. Good friend of mine is having a problem with crows and grackles pooping all over his cars. So we did a little research and one of the things we found is that these birds poop on the average of every 10 mins. So if you have a big flock of them hanging around on trees or something, or flying over you vehicles a lot, that is a lot of poop falling on your vehicles. And I know that bird poop if left on paint after a while it will eat on the paint. So I would suggest some type of cover for sure if your parked in area they like to hang out in..
