That is a shroud on the Parkway (pastel) green Tux in the link. The first photo in post #29 (same link) of the yellow Renegade shows the screw holes for the plastic shroud on the radiator side panel. I expect there was a shroud attached originally.
I believe that all these Jeeps had shrouds when they left the factory, though I don’t have many examples of F134’s in the last 3-4 years as most were Dauntless powered.
As far as the Spruce green ‘62 photos, the very last picture in that series shows the side of the shroud in place on the side panel of the radiator. You can see the top screw fastening it too.

Okay, I see the side flange of the shroud on the Spruce green '62, as well as the one on the '65. Thanks for pointing that out, Donny.

I checked my '66 parts book, and sure enough, there's a radiator shroud listed for the F134 - part number 806322.

It appears that these shrouds might have been factory installed only through a specific serial number, but that number was left blank.

There were at least two versions of the fan shrouds for the F134. The early one is nearly identical (maybe the same) as the M38a1. There was another version that is a smoother/more compact shape, maybe introduced around the Kaiser line? I think this is the one seen on the ‘62 discussed above. Was there another version when the grill shell was changed around ‘67/‘68? I don’t know.

My '62 and '65 both have the fan shroud.
I assume they are original, but...

I have a 1971 parts book as well, and just checked it. The F134 shroud also appears there, and is the same part number as in '66.

Both my '56 and my '57 f-head CJ5's have old, identical shrouds. The radiators are each different, yet appear very original
