Didn't Advance Adapters make a hanging pedal assembly for Jeeps. I don't see it on their website. Maybe it was someone else, but I thought it was them. Also, does anyone have a hanging pedal assembly that they are willing to part with. Looking at going that route while the engine is out.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

This one is designed to use an old single MC for Clutch and Brakes. I have it out in the shop. I'm going to be modifying one like it to use Wilwood MCs later in the year. That way I can have a dual MC for brakes and the slave for clutch.

You can use one from a YJ. It's almost a direct bolt in. You will need to drill holes in the dash for some of the screws, and may need to fabricate a cover plate for your heater box hole. Using the YJ pedals allows you to use YJ brake and clutch master cylinders as well, or an 80s CJ7 gm 4 cylinder hydraulic master for the clutch. This is what I used in my build. You will also need to cut and bend the pedal arms to clear the early CJ5 floor toe boards.

I pulled mine out of an 85/86 XJ. My 6 is an auto, so I only need the brake pedal.

You can use hanging pedals from a lot of small cars if you have some fabrication skills. On my cj2a truck project, I used hanging pedal from a 1977 Toyota Corolla and bought a rebuilt master cylinder from Rock Auto pretty cheap. I used a 1977 Chevy Monza clutch cable and modified the top of the clutch pedal to accept this cable... again bought new from Rock Auto.

This is the same one I'm adapting to my cj5. It seems to fit well so far. It was so many years ago that I pulled it, that I have no idea how the clutch setup was layed out.... I need to figure it out pretty soon.
