Yeah, these absolutely don't last out there. Almost everytime I see an each coast one the cab is toast. They get eaten up just like a CJ.

    It's a Holley 2110.

Yes thankfully, although current availability is a little dicey with a lot of other windshields due to supply chain stuff.
Its the same windshield as a Loadstar (1961-1978)

Unfortunately a lot of other things got in the way. The 1210 service truck kept having problems with clogged fuel filters. I didn't clean out of the tanks well enough when I hooked it up and debris kept clogging up the fuel filters. Had to clean the bowl on the carb for the same thing. Then the radiator gave out and started dumping coolant.

It was supposed to haul the B120 to it's new home for the next year or two. Since that wasn't gonna work, a buddy helped me tow it with his dads truck. Well that didn't work out perfectly either. It started spewing diesel out of the injector rail hauling up the cajon pass. So we fixed that, and finally got it to it's new home, a little diesel soaked. I don't think it wanted to leave, and it wanted me to know it.

I still haven't even started it, and now I probably won't until I bring it back. Oh well.

    Loaded on the trailer.

Someone on FB was giving away parts for a L series IH. Got an oil bath air cleaner that should fit this truck. That'll be nice, I got a cheap thing off Amazon just to try and get it started but it wasn't the right style. Whenever I got up next I'll get it on. Might hook a jumper to it and see if the lights work to remind myself I should keep this thing. I'll post a pic.

That thing is so cool. I'm glad you're keeping it, but bummed it's going off to storage.

It really bums me out. Ive got a lot of projects, and right now they're just in stasis for a long time.
I'm itching so badly to get this going, get the 1210 back on the road, and my CJ.
This thing is gonna be one sweet hauler, eventually.

I keep silencing the little voice in my head that says to get rid of it.
But I learned long ago from this very forum the importance of giving yourself bits of progress to stay motivated.
I'm gonna try to do that. Money and time permitting.

Sometimes motivation to keep a project takes many forms. Today it was running across these in the garage. I picked these up from someone I had sold wagon parts to not long after I bought the '59. I figure one of these days I'll clean them up and mount them on the fenders. Then I met up with jpflat2a and made the deal of a lifetime for a massive reference library for IH. I'll try to get some pictures up this week, its overwhelming, and very generous. Good motivation to keep this thing around.

I know the feeling. I had zero motivation to work on my 64 K20, but I found a cab and that changed everything.

I saw that! Very nice find. There's always so many things at play. Finding an air cleaner for this thing helped a lot, the truck being kept far from home takes a lot of steam away. The CJs are at a bit of a standstill for other reasons, but I'm itching to get a battery in this thing and just see if the lights work. I would still love to get it running. If it'll start I'd love to flush the cooling system and get the radiator checked out. I still have have quite a few gas tanks to clean myself or have cleaned.

A few days ago, a truck driver out of Utah offered this 17inch split ring wheel for the 6x7.25 bolt pattern I have for free. Luckily he was going my way, so I was able to get it. 17 inch wheels are hard to come by in this bolt pattern, split ring or not. I don't have money for wheels right now, so this was a nice surprise! It's in good shape. Nice to already have one.

I thought someone on here used Ford F450/550 wheels and filled the holes in and drilled new ones to make them work on one of these trucks. I could be wrong.

    That's a good idea.
My buddy has a welder. Maybe we can figure something out to just get rollers for this thing.
