Dauntless V6 Harmonic Balancer

Is the pulley pressed on to the balancer. I’m trying to remove it so it can be rebuilt. I removed the 6 bolts, but I can’t separate them. What’s the best way to get the pulley off?

 

Just give it some gentle love with your rubber hammer.
There is a raised ring in your balancer that indexes the pulley.

 

^^^What Andrew said, between that and sticking to the paint.... It will not take much to "nudge" it.

 

If the radiator is still in place, be careful when prying on the pulley. They tend to "pop off" when the paint and grime finally release... mine put a little dent in the radiator when it finally let go

 

Harmonic balancer pullers are pretty cheap at Harbor Freight.

 

I have balancer and pulley off. Just trying to get the pulley off the balancer. Thank you everyone for your input. Just going to take it slow. I’ve sprayed it with PB blast, now just going to do some light taps with a rubber hammer
