Put me down for 2nd chance on it. I have a snow plow repair business. I'd love to have it. It definitely looks well made. If you get a chance could you get pictures of the backside and mount. Love the jeep too! My 48 2A was owned by a large snow plow mfg co in Ohio.

Check this link if it works or check in on ewillys. Shows some good shots of a V.

Manufactured for the military by Wausau Iron Works in Wisconsin.

I’d still like to find one.

OK for plowing sidewalks, or a one lane path but not much else.
Once you punch a path thru you now use it as a 3' plow.
Wont pile snow all that well either.
    Novelty item.

I imagine they were mostly intended for drift busting. V-plows are great for that. They use big V-plows on road graders around here to bust the drifts. Of-course those have an offset blade in the middle and a wing blade to widen the path behind the V-plow.

    yep. But I’m a novel person sooo……

But yea, cool item that would probably never get used. I have a standard plow or two laying around here that will hopefully find their way into service at some point. But it would be fun to mess with the neighbors by putting a V on the front. Might be as good as vacuuming the driveway once in a while.

Ya Know....... I faintly recall seeing that pic of the fleet of V plows. I think it was a Pennsylvania Parks Dept . or something along that line ? :study: It may have been when I was working on parts thru Storks ? I'm on it .....Hold my Beer.

    Found this so far :
"Prior to owning the business, Gene Stork worked at a Jeep dealership and also had a plowing business" :susp:

So.....way off as usual, but I try......

“This is an original vintage press photo. Thirteen new jeeps with snowplows attached have arrived for delivery to the Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works. They will be used in winter for fulfilling city contracts for sidewalk plowing. They can also be used with lawn mower attachments. The fleet will be added to similar equipment already on hand. Future purchase of more is under consideration. George Renno, 1350 South 98th Street, town of Wauwatosa, a passer-by, looked over the vehicles at Greenfield Motor Sales, 9800 West Greenfield Avenue, town of Wauwatosa. The jeeps cost $2,087 each."

Where do you suppose those jeeps and plows ended up? Surely there's one or two still sitting in a barn just waiting for me!

I recall similar CJ 5's locally in the 60's and 70's.

The big difference is that the New Meyer or Boss 'V' plows are fully articulating or " Transformer " Type engineering . Very, very versatile, with a ton of electrical .
    $$$$$'s ....Too.

We have a few of those adjustable blade plows at work. Everybody.......and I mean everybody, hates them. They might be okay in a parking lot or something but for plowing the roads, not so much.

We have 2 big solid V's also. One for the Deere rubber tired loader we had at the time and on for the front of the John Deere grader. The only time I've ever seen either of them in use was once when I put one on the tired loader to open a dirt road up that was drifted shut. I had fooled around for about 30 minutes using the bucket on the loader. Got sick of that painfully slow procedure in a hurry so I took the loader back to the shop, dropped the bucket, hooked up the V and returned. Cut through the road in minutes, literally. Like butter. Then a pass down each side with half the blade and I was on my way back to the shop. Turned a hassle of a job that would probably have taken 2 hours into a breeze that was done in like 15.
