We had a non-rainy day for the first time in a while so went for a nice long drive in the '71. We even found some fall colors still hanging around:

Took the other Jeep to the Post Office in the snow. During the daylight this time.

Here we are letting the dogs out and checking the mailbox at the end of the driveway:

All the time and money spent from work I did over summer, I’m slowly recouping from plowing neighbors driveways. With chains, she is unstoppable and won’t get stuck. I’m having a blast! Her small size makes some small jobs impossible for full size trucks.

Fireball, your pictures make me green with envy!!! I hope to get my jeep out driving around sooner than later, but it seems like I can't get traction on my project.

Looking at your build thread, you've been making good progress. When I'm in the middle of a Jeep project, I try to spend 2 hours a day on it 6 days a week (Friday night is off). I can usually muddle though things at a decent pace. But then I have months where I do nothing with the Jeeps and work on house projects.

I have carefully picked Jeeps in good enough shape to not need complete tear-downs. I do much better when I have smaller scope projects done one at a time with the Jeep disabled for a month or so at worst. One of the reasons I have 2 running Jeeps is having one usable while work is being done. I hopscotch the work on them so I always have one that runs. I also have a CJ2 that needs everything and it's been apart for 20 years now. I just freeze up when there is that much to do and especially when a lot of it is body work.

I have to say living where I live, the Jeeps have been great fun and I drive one most days of the week even in the winter. They bring a smile to my face.
