Anybody Running Rancho 9000 Series Adjustable Shocks?

    When I haul (too much) weight in the trailer, my common practice is to double the air pressure in the rear tires and crank up the rear shocks from 1/9 to 5/9. It makes the rear feel the same with huge tongue weight as it does when empty.

    But when I get home and unload, I’ll go to switch the shocks back to 1 only to find they’ve already switched themselves back down to at least 3, or even 2. Is this a common issue with these shocks?

    I had a set ~24 years ago, but I have a hard enough time remembering last week.

    If I do this again next year, I might have to make a bracket that holds the adjusters in place.

    Yes, I've had that happen as well. I find that if I let them sit at the higher number for a bit before changing the load it stays better.
