    How'd you do it?

Normally the D18 shifter uses a boss on the T90 case for support in the single stick configuration.

If you kept your single stick setup - can I see your bracket for supporting the shifter pivot?

Not an SM420 specifically, but the T98 setup I bought had an angle iron bracket on one of the bellhousing bolts:

Sounds good. I have the whole assembly, looks almost identical to the one Lilbuff63 posted above. I'll dig it out and get a pic tonight.

Oh, just to be clear i meant my trans/tcase assembly but i’d very much appreciate pics of what you have. Again, probably save me a lot of time/head scratching to grab something already made. Thanks!

Oh I see what you meant

So here's the bracket that was on mine.

Which I still have and the shifter and linkage and everything that goes on that bracket. Just let me know and I can drop it all in a box.

The twin stick setup is so simple to make, why not just set it up twin stick? This is how I made mine and then welded shifters onto the... round part

    Imagine that welded to it

And I bent the shifters to look like this

Sent you a PM, James. And good question with the twin stick. My only solid answer, since I liked the twin sticked D18 in my CJ2a, is that I'm looking to maximize leg-room for the occasional middle passenger on the front bench setup I'm planning. Seems like while the stick is a tad bit out of reach for me while driving, it's also very tucked up under the dash providing good legroom for little legs. :)

Please forgive the off topic reply.
What is the hand lever on your shifter?

It's connected to the throttle linkage so I can do throttle with my hand while feet are busy on brake and clutch. I actually use it more than I thought I would, I drive around town with it more than my right foot.
