I just picked up these 5 tires and 4 of them have aluminum wheels. I had one odd ball wheel too, so at least I have 5 slotted wheels. Just wondering if any of these are correct for a renegade?

To me, the first picture looks like the later Renegade wheels. The last pisture looks like the "D" sloted wheels from the Renegade II. I don't remember the measurment but the ID needs to be large enough to work. Some similar looking slotted wheels have the center hole too small.

Looks like RII wheels to me too. Should have American Racing Equipment K.A. (71) Made in England molded on the back side if they are.
    Here are mine

Thanks for the info. I will check for a stamping. I know the 4 matching ones were on a jeep at some point.

1970's Renegade wheels with sausage slots have a raised ring between the center mounting flange and the cutout area. Also, the valve stem protrudes though one of the slots. See photo below:

These might be original D-slots in the second photo!

The valve stem does protrude in the slots on the 4 matching wheels and they do have that raised ring. I’d say they are renegade wheels!

Your first photo looks like aftermarket alloys. I'd guess Ansen Sprint, maybe American Racing. The raised ring found of AMC Rennegade wheels is between the dish where the slots are, and the flat lug area. I don't see this feature in your photos.
When you get a tire removed, try tapping one with a wood hammer handle. Does it ring or or more of a thud? A ring often denotes a forged wheel. A thud is usually a cast wheel.
The second photo sure looks like a genuine D-Slot from a Rennegade ll. Someone here was just looking for a singles one very recently.

 Darn. Well, they will look good on a JEEP. And if the other one is a true D slot from a jeep, that makes it all worthwhile, IMO. They seem to be, dare I say it,......rare.
