Ron's photo shows the more common sticker that is widely reproduced. I have seen that paper label a couple time in the past on the inside of the glovebox door on both Wagons and CJs. I had forgotten they used these.

My '71 has the black and white paper type on the inside of the glovebox door, as Donnie referenced.

I went looking though some old glovebox doors, and have some small remnants of a paper label inside of a '62 Wagon glovebox door, and the printing is very faded red ink. I can see part of "notice to operator" and the dots in the surround, but the lower part is gone.
Maybe reproduce in blue, red, and black?

I never noticed before - mine does not say Warn. But my '66 does have Warn hubs.

That is very interesting. I've not seen that version before.

It must be an early Warn decal, though, as the later version of the locking hub decal looks very similar, but is foil and has the Warn name and logo added:

Also, here's a somewhat better image of the early type posted by the OP:

Roy, do you happen to know how long that decal has been on your Jeep?

Just wondering about the approximate timeline during which that foil type was used.

Thanks Roy. I likewise have that same reproduction decal on my '67.

A similar, though not identical, decal to that repro version evidently came with Warn locking hubs during the mid-1960s. Here's a photo of an original decal from that era (on a 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser). Note the lack of white lettering and the difference at the bottom of the decal:

Little hard to pick out the wording on my screen---so here it is, without formatting.

    NOTICE TO OPERATOR
    THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH
    WARN LOCKING HUBS

FOR 2-WHEEL DRIVE turn the controls counter clockwise
until center arrow points directly to “Free” red dot.
FOR 4-WHEEL DRIVE turn controls clockwise until
center arrow points directly to “Lock” red dot
DO NOT DRIVE unless center arrows on brass controls
point directly to either “Lock” or “Free” dot on hub
rims! Both hubs must always be the same. Tools are
    not needed to turn controls.
DO NOT operate vehicle in low range of transfer
case with hubs in “Free” position.

Thanks Dave, that is great. Based on the fact that there isn't a zip code included on the address at the bottom, it's likely that this sticker dates from prior to 1963, when zip codes were introduced.

The OP's profile notes that his 1965 J-2500 Gladiator has one of these early Warn dash stickers. It's not surprising that this sticker might have been used later than '63, as the stickers were included along with the Warn hubs, and those boxed sets could have remained on the shelf a long time before being sold and installed.

I found a (not very accurate) reproduction of your decal on an IH Scout site (Scout II, Scout 80, Scout 800 Early Locking Hubs Decal - International Scout Parts - Scout II Parts - Your Authorized IH Lightline Dealer):

Warn built IH-marked hubs for the Scout and other models as a factory-installed option. IH marketed these as their own proprietary hubs. As this decal was evidently typically installed on IH vehicles, it makes sense that the Warn name was left off.

Maybe Warn ran out of the Warn-marked version of the decals at some point, and substituted a non-Warn-marked one in the box your Warn hubs originally came in?
