Led Blub Flasher Unit

I replace all 4 of my turn signal blubs on my 1974 Cj5 with LED lights. And since they now no longer flash I need to replace the flasher units. I need SPECIFIC vendor/part number information for replacement units.

P. S. I checked superbrightled.com where I purchased the LED blubs and they only list a load resistor kit for the 1974 CJ5. But on their flasher page they show two (2) flasher unit (CF12AN6-01 and FL2) that have the same connection arrangement as my old units. Will one of these work? And if so, which one?

 

I use a simple mechanical flasher unit. It does not require a specific load, put power to it and it flashes. The only negative is now when a bulb burns out you won't know unless you look.

Are you making a demand?

Suggest you call the seller of the bulbs and demand an answer from them.

Your flaps will have a flasher for led lights. I bought one from napa very similar to the one posted by 45es awhile ago. Then I bought a few off Amazon for a quarter the price that don't use the extra ground wire.

 

For timgr and for those who DEMAND SPECIFIC vendor/part number answers to your questions here it is. These parts worked on my 1974 CJ5:
From superbrightleds.com I purchased Part Number: 1157-NW27-T natural white for the rear tail lights and Part Number: 1157-A27-T amber for the front turn signal/emergency flasher lights. After I install these lights they didn't flash. So I sought help here. Answers did help me with my search. (Still not sure what "Your flaps will have a flasher for led lights." refers to.)
