I’m gonna run it dry some day when I’m feeling adventurous and see what the gauge does.

I made new framework to box in all the wiring and DC converter. I retained the original cabinets’ footprint since the gross carpet was already mashed down there. I rotated the converter 90° to face out from under the side of the bed. The hoses and wires along the floor on the right will get covered with a false floor, and I salvaged enough paneling from the tear-down that I’ll be able to cover all exposed faces of this box.

Now a queen mattress will fit if we can get it to squeeze in there. It’ll have to fold like a taco.

Bag the mattress, suck it down with a shop vac, run ratchet straps around and start cranking. It's the box spring that gets interesting.

My back is not a fan of them.
We’re going to cram our old spare BR mattress in there. I’ll MAKE it fit.

What a difference in the new plywood on the right in that picture and the old stuff on the left. Did they use CDX on it?

Old RV's gross me out. Kudos to you for bringing this one back!

Are you going to do some sort of long pull-out drawer to get access to the really deep storage space under the bed?

The subfloor is OSB, and everything else seems to be CDX and oak plywood panel. The cabinet face frames (of all things) are particle board.

Found this behind the drawers I yanked out.
