Yeh, I saw that was one of the only offerings around. I do kind of like that one. Probably order a few or more of the hand holds and webs for it as well. I have to talk to a local guy and see if he has time to build one. But I do like that one. Has the seat mounts as well.

Well the white on white is ok with me. At least on the 68 I put the picture up of. But this one, the 66 was a Tux and originally the Yellow, in the tub pictures. So if you thought white was bad enough, wait to you see this one in yellow. But its back to original color, or a more recent Jeep Grey. They have a few newer greys I like and a little lighter than battleship grey. My last 46 was the 2015 Jeep Tank green. I think thats one of my favorite color Jeep ever came out with. My new 46, will be getting that same tank green. Can't have two jeeps the same color.

Cool, good to know. I'm probably going that direction.

Not much to report on. I brought the other 68 Tux in to figure out the tranny grinding and now that one has turned into a major fix. So this one sits in the corner awaiting further attention. At least the two are not fighting at night and making a mess in the barn. :coffee:

A typo on "68 Tux"? I thought the last Tuxes were '67s. I see the firewalls between the red primer and grey epoxy tubs are different. I remember '68 still has the two heater box openings as seen on the red primer tub Is the grey one AMC era? Im having a hard time keeping up with all your projects!

I like the tool box location on the flat fender. I guess it fits below the floor ok?

Yeh Donny, I hadn't finished my coffee yet. My 66 is the Tux. The 68 is just another six. Plain jane six.

It had a full size battery in it and was pretty deep. I'm putting the battery back under the hood and will make that well a little shallower when it goes back in. I removed the sump/tray that was under the tool lid and had the tub blasted.

This one will be sidelined for a while. The 68 has some frame work needed now, so I'm pulling that tub now and doing a complete resto mod on that one. Breaks my heart, but this is shelved for a bit. Now I have no running CJ-6's. Damn Jeeps.

Donny, I forgot to get back to you about the firewall. Not sure if you caught it in the post, that I grafted a section of firewall off my spare 83 Srambler tub, in order to install the cj8 steering column and PB and PS and single brake drop pedal. Yes auto column for Rossler 350 turbo.

PS: I also have troubles sometimes remembering which project is which.
But I can't complain about having two nice CJ-6's to work on and my 46 Jalopy.(y)
