That bumper could be from around 1948 through 1964. That a front because of the two notches for the overrider assembly. With a bit of work, that could be made into a Tux bumper. Cut about 4" off each end, weld up the notches and all the holes, redrill two more holes where needed, then rechrome! The Jeepster bumpers can be modified for a Tux too. The front only has four extra holes, but can be used as-is.
The Wagon rear bumpers usually have "Willys" embossed in the center.

Measure the lengths of your front vs rear bumpers. You should find the rear is wider by 6"-8". They are the correct shape for the Tuxes though.

Front measures 57" more or less, rear measures 63" M O L. Both come to a slight point in the center. That's why I thought they were the samre part, most rear bumpers are flatter. Both bumpers have 2 bolts, center of the narrow section, one towards the outside, one 12-14" further in. The front's the same except there's a bolt on the top edge of the bumper in alignment with the one centered, on mine, centered, towards the outside edge. the DS has an extra bolt that holds the liscense plate bracket.

The Z brackets are Arm, Bumper, rear, Willys part number 911137 I've got a copy of the drawing on an Aperture Card.

I believe the bar, bumper, front and rear (chrome) is 911135 I'll try to get a decent image of that also.

One of my Rene l's and Rene ll's has a chrome front bumper like the Commandos. But both have chrome carriage bolts that the heads are shaped like a football. 57 "mol.

I've seen the oval head bolts, but the Tux'es didn't use them. Do your chrome bumpers mount with 3 bolts at each frame horn, or just 1 on the face of the bumper?

One on top and one on face.
And there is a hole on bottom of bumper to mount underneath the frame horn, but there isn't one there. There is a round carriage bolt for the license plate on the drivers side.

That sounds like the chrome Jeepster/Commando front bumper. The Jeepster bumper bolts straight onto the Tux, but has the extra top and bottom holes for each frame horn.

I submit the following for reference.
Late 1969/early 70 Jeepster/Commando, factory original front bumper on original frame horns.
Four mounting holes for each frame horn...the bottom has two, then one front/center, and another on top.
There is an extra hole for license plate purposes on the drivers side.

I didn't know they used two bolts on the bottom side. I've seen them with one.

Mine is a Jeepster/Commando versus a Jeepster (true convertible)...I wonder if that makes a difference how they are attached ?
Colojeepguy just picked up a nice 1970 Jeepster convertible My New Commando Convertible
His front bumper is painted instead of chrome,(which surprised me because the convertibles usually had the "bling" on them ), perhaps Doug can tell us how many fasteners his is attached with and measure the length for us.
