Throttle Linkage On V6 Jeep

    Can somebody post a picture for me that shows the throttle linkage on a 2bbl V6 CJ5 from the carb to the firewall. Mine has some really creative engineering going on and I need to see what the proper set up looks like.

    I’d love to see this too. The linkage on my 198 is super creative as well.

    Twin2, I'm curious what the thin cable next to the throttle linkage is? Manual Choke?

    Here’s mine. It works ok, although I’d like to find something better than the cable clamp to hold the cable to the carb.

    The firewall mount and lever are part of the hanging accelerator pedal assembly that were used on the V6 jeeps during the mid 1960's. Maybe if you post a WTB ad in the Classifieds forum, someone on the site will have one they'd be willing to sell you.
