Underside of the tub is officially done and ready for primer. :bananatool:

I addressed something that I wasn’t sure how to address. I haven’t ever really seen a version of a rock slider on a flat fender that I liked. They just don’t look right IMO with anything tacked to the bottom edge. It just takes away from the look. No offense to anyone who has them; just a personal preference.

Since the framework behind my skins is already a little beefier than stock...

I decided to run an extra support under the lip of the tub made from 1/8” that ties the edge of the body to the 1/8” plate floor.

The outside edge of the body might get dinged up, but it would take quite a hit to collapse it.

On a side note, I’ve lost four grinders in three months. Two of them today. I need to get ordering some brushes and gear sets. I’m down to one grinder left. :(

Nice job on the rockers. It's hard to find a nice idea for sliders. That looks great.

I really don’t. I’m almost to the point of throwing the block sander in the trash, smoothing everything over with the DA and calling it done.

It wouldn’t bother me one bit. :D

I’d just have to tune out the voice of the one whom it would bother. :madwife:

I am. That’s the problem. :) “It’s just going to get eaten anyway.”

It’s just going to get banged up in the woods, so what’s the point.

I think she’s just going to have to deal with it. :poke:
