Speedometer Cable Removal

    I am trying to pull transfer case to rebuild but i cannot get the speedometer cable of it, am I missing something, shouldn't you just unscrew the nut and pull it out. Help

    It is really tight up there. I think you have to drop the case THEN remove the cable. That is what I did.
