I can't add photos from my phone, even at the smallest size, so here's a link to the album. They are the last pictures.

I bought this bellhousing to replace my existing one. It is not the same. It appears that it does not need the little adapter my transmission came with. I don't think it's going to work for me with my T-14 and Dauntless 225.

Anyone know what it is for?

    It's always something.

It's for a T-14 and BOP pattern. If it's the bell I think it is - Jeep used this bell only in 1971, and yes it eliminates the adapter.

I can't see your pics but if Tim is correct in his assessment (as he most often is), then that bell should work for you. The 71 bell was, in effect, cast with the adapter integrated into to it.

Check the condition of the threads for the trans.

    yep it's a 71 bell
normally it would have a 3 finger borg-beck pressure plate
haven't looked for the clutch arm boot in a long time

That's how I realized I had a different one. The boot is TINY compared to the enormous hole in this bellhousing.

In your album I noticed that your CJ5 originally had the same two tone blue seats as mine with the same pattern in the center. My serial number is only a few hundred off from yours. Do you know what that trim color is called? Yours came out very nice having them recovered. Did you do them yourself?
