I forgot to take pictures of the heater hose route on 61ā€™ CJ5 with a f134 when disassembling engine and removing from chassis. Does anyone have pictures or can give description on where hoses go and where The On / off valve goes between water pump and heater coil.

Here's a stock heater, don't mind the extra stuff in the 2nd pic it just shows the outlet of heater to water pump. There is a fitting on the rear of the head for the valve and hose.

Where the hose back by the firewall goes down then to the nipple on the back of the head. Can you show a closer pic of that area? Iā€™m assuming that nipple points straight up so a big loop for the hose.

On mine It had a straight open nipple going straight up. It didn't have any valve. I'm running a valve from a 89 Toyota pickup. On a earlier truck head I picked up there was the 90deg valve on the head.
