I've been searching for gaskets for my locking hubs and I can't find them ANYWHERE:shrug: What's a nice set of hubs that's not terribly expensive?

Oh, almost forgot, my hub puller arrived:bananatool:, the hubs came off without too much trauma. Then pressed the lugs out like I did the fronts~ worked great:rofl:

Like the red krinkle painted covers. Leave the dent-----gives character. Front yoke looks good but for fun, run your fingernail across the area the seal goes and see if you feel a rough spot where the seal rides. It needs to be as smooth as a baby's behind.

    NAPA should have longer studs.

Do what ITLKSEZ says, those are old warn hubs, made in USA. Even have the international harvester mark which means they came off an old scout. If you do buy some new ones I would be glad to buy those Warns from you.

They are simple, Tim may have a lead on gaskets and such. People have a tendency to over grease them.

They are available, but you have to buy the complete rebuild kit which includes hardware, snap rings etc. Search Ebay for warn hubs.

Edit: 73cj5 beat meet to it.

Sort of like this? (Detroit green not buick green). I'm not sure I like it, but painted it green so it would be easier to track oil leaks. I don't think it would look good with driveshafts or diffs painted green either. Worst case you could try it and then repaint if you don't like it!
