Meyer "supercab" Top For Cj-6 Any One Ever See Or Build One?

After looking at the CJ5 full top and the 1/2 cab already on the Six, unsure on just which way to go.

Cutting down the CJ5 top would provide a operable rear hatch, that would keep things cool in the summer.

Extending the Half Cab roof and adding the 20" CJ6 side panels appears a little easier, but it looks like it will be hard to access the items in the rear.
Will be adding a flip up passenger seat, and driver side seat with slide mechanism as well, so that will help access some.

i have acquired extra Meyer Mark III side panels to cut down if needed, and to source side glass for the plain CJ6 side panels.

Will make some more measurements, and perhaps only make a 10" cab extension, like the one picture sent earlier.

Back on my Supercab project. Met with the sheet metal fabricator today regarding making Meyer steel top parts.
Specifically the side extension panels for the CJ6. He can replicate the 20" CJ6 originals or make a shorter version.

I have a request to build a pair of 20" extensions with the side windows that came on the MkIII version for Keith in San Antonio.
If anyone else want some, now is the time to speak up.

Acquired a like new CJ5 steel top without doors or hardware. Have 3 of the CJ5 Meyer top panels now.
One is for the CJ5, one to cutdown for the supercab, and one to stretch for a full length CJ6 top.

May have some CJ5 rear steel top corner pieces with windows , and a rear hatch left over when done. Will post for sale.

Using the MKIII corners pieces on the CJ5 and CJ6 full tops. may have one more set MKIII corners for sale later.

 

I got a rear lift gate for a Meyer top (no glass) if your needing it.

 

Thanks, I have located 2 more cj5 Meyer tops, both without doors and windshield brackets or hinges.
So I have some extra lift gates and and side panels.
One of the tops is in NOS condition and has the MK III side panels.
I will have some parts to sell later.
