great! I like this idea, and it seems pretty straight forward. where did you get the mounting brackets from?

When I took it apart, there wasn't a gasket between the knuckle and spline. Is that correct?

I got mine from a guy names Stev over at the 2a site. They are 3/8" thick instead of the 1/4" that are listed on the site. But I don't think he has anymore.

Today has been frustration. Trying to get all the parts and in today's world that places don't carry anything but their 'own' brand and things come from whatever warehouse where ever, blah, blah. I will post my final parts and suggestions. Finding the studs and bolts has been a multi stop, multi runs into town 45 mins away. No one has the studs in stock (NAPA, O'Rieley, Advanced, AutoZone) and are having to ship a few from here and a few from there, etc, etc. The studs that were on mine from the factory did not require opening up the holes in the rotors. I have 2 different ones coming in to decide on length. I decided to just keep it simple and use the Geo brake hose even though it cost a little more. But, of course, both need ordering with one here tomorrow and one not til Thursday or Friday. Still trying to figure out the banjo bolt.

I could not find the torque spec in the FSM for the backing plate/spline to the knuckle. Any one know the proper number?

I assume since the spline was against the hub originally, it would go first then the new bracket, but it is not going smoothly. Not pulling up tight. Turns out the guy I got my brackets from had them powder coated and that extra thickness is the issue. Scrapped it out and goes in now.
